I have found that people as a general rule have lost the ability to think outside the confines of logic. This is very sad, because though logic is a useful tool in our world, it isn't the entire scope of reality. I am not proclaiming to be immune to this confinement of logic, only stating the completely ridiculous nature in which we embrace it. It is such madness to confine our self to a school of thought that was made to be engineers and carry out our animal needs in a timely manner. Sure, we've found somewhat creative uses for logic, but it is a pale imitation of what we are giving up.
And then the thing where people verbalize inside their minds their perceptions and thoughts...this is complete and utter lunacy. I mean, events and thoughts that are completely indescribable we label with impotent words that steal the profoundness and singularity of these things and leaves us with such sad pale imitations of anything meaningful. Why is it that we must define everything we encounter?
We have the thumb, and this does not make us better than mammal. All animals that I have observed in nature have shown some kind of logic, and some animals, like some marsupials and primates have opposable thumbs like us...so what is it but our abstract thought that makes us special. And we toss it aside like a doll we've grown too old to play with, when in actuality it is our salvation waiting to happen.
No words can express my ultimate dismay at the state of the mind of humankind. We have become nothing more than intelligent animals, even with all this time we have had to become so much more. FREE YOUR MIND!!! It will be the greatest war of independence you will ever have the oppurtunity to experience. Thanks for Your Time.
Instead of reading this and thinking that I went on a tangent, try reading it and considering if it has any validity, and then maybe consider, if it does have validity, what you can do to become more human and less animal.
